
Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as if you are using a "regional language version" of the game (even if you are playing it in English) using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins replacements for textures (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), animations, or "bodies", etc. BTW, for future reference: Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki " How to ask for help" article.

I recommend anyone read the entire " FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so.


You should only use the mechanism from one manager as they each have an arbitrary filename that is not standard between them, so they end up conflicting. And there are some potential conflicts possible, most notably the use of "ArchiveInvalidation". You can use multiple mod managers, but you need to understand how each of them works. They are all "tools" looking for files in the "Data" folder and if you are running them from outside of that mod manager, it is unpopulated because you aren't using a current "profile". If you do, then that would explain the "missing files" for FOMM, LOOT, and FNVEdit. They place " symbolic links" to those files in the "Data" folder when you start a game session using a given profile.įrom the sound of things, you seem to be using more than one mod manager. Most (I would say all but I don't know about "all" other mod managers just the main ones used with FNV such as NMM, MO, MO2, and Vortex) work from the concept of an "empty Data Folder" and "profiles". It places the plugin files from those mods in the game "Data" folder.

FOMM only lists the mods you have installed with it.
